We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Gurgaon. You will have the flexibility of working in an office and working at home.

About the Role:

We are looking for a strategic SVP, Global Operations to join our team. This role will oversee and optimize the operational functions of our organization. Reporting to the COO/CFO, you will be responsible for driving efficiency, innovation, and scalability across all areas of the company to support our growth and success.

About You:

You are a business minded, strong strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, who can translate business objectives into actionable operational plans and initiatives.  You are someone with a deep understanding of technical operations processes, with experience in implementing best practices and driving efficiency improvements.  You have demonstrated experience and understanding in UGC, social, streaming and content monetization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage, mentor and coach a team in the following departments:
      • India Operations
      • Rights Management
      • Content Acquisition
      • Content Operations
      • Publishing Tech
  • Develop and execute strategic operational plans and initiatives to support the company's overall objectives and business growth
  • Collaborate with other senior executives to align operational priorities with the company's strategic vision and goals
  • Implement performance metrics and KPIs to monitor and evaluate operational performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive accountability
  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive innovation, efficiency, and scalability throughout the organization
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and excellence within the operations team, promoting employee engagement and development
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including content creators, distribution partners, and vendors
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform operational strategies and decision-making
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in managing offshore operation and driving engagement
  • Experience and understanding of UGC, social and streaming and content acquisition
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong business acumen and financial literacy, with the ability to analyze financial data, budgets, and performance metrics to inform decision-making
  • Experience in change management with a willingness to embrace change and to adapt strategies on the fly  
  • Perpetual curiosity and a willingness to research 
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in an agile publishing environment 
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
