Our office is in Gurgaon, India. This role will be a hybrid in-office / remote position, with the expectation of at least two (2) days per week in the office.
About the role:
Reporting to the Post-Production Supervisor, the Senior Editor is a creative video expert with excellent technical skills, a strong creative flair, and a deep understanding of short- and long-form video content production. As a Senior Editor, you will oversee the entire editorial process, ensuring that content is accurate, engaging, and aligns with all brand standards. You will be comfortable both giving and receiving creative feedback and addressing notes in a timely manner. Organized with the ability to multitask effectively, you are eager to be part of a growing, award-winning video team.
About you:
The Senior Editor is a dedicated editor for the Streaming Post-Production team supporting the creation and execution of all Streaming TV series programming, including Original and Clip based series.
The Senior Editor will also be called upon to cut special presentations and sizzles according to specifications outlined by the team which will align with all brand standards. Editors are expected to learn the brand’s voice, edit quickly with precision, and will be responsible for final delivery of all assets to publishing.
Your day-to-day:
Owning episodic television projects from start to finish.
Raise the bar creatively while delivering best-in-class content for our extensive audience.
Respond in a timely manner to notes from the Creative Producers and Executives
Maintaining TMB voice and standards across all editorial projects
Quality check deliverables at various specifications for multiple platforms
Understanding the requirements for pilots/concepts of new content properties, including developing the workflows and processes so they can be delegated as needed.
Aid in Mentorship of Junior Editors to elevate the quality of their work while maintaining company and brand standards.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8+ Years in Post-Production as an Editor, with at least 2 years as a senior-level editor in a production environment (digital, production, broadcast, post).
Knowledge and understanding of standard production/post-tech tools and workflow.
Proficiency in Premiere Pro, Frame.io, After Effects and other video production tools.
Deep knowledge of and experience creating high-performing content for broadcast/streaming and social platforms.
Open to the ability to adapt to and test AI (Artificial Intelligence) tools and trends.
Mastery of the English language and a familiarity of English used in U.S. digital media
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Solid leadership skills with the ability to communicate strategy and objectives clearly.
A disposition for high-growth, entrepreneurial culture that requires teamwork and significant interaction with employees at all levels.
Must be available to work swing shifts as needed.
