Location:

We have offices in New York, Los Angeles, Milwaukee, and Gurgaon, India. This position is based remotely on the US East Coast with the opportunity for in-office days at our New York office if the hire is local.

About the role:

Trusted Media Brands is looking for a Director, Brand Partnerships to join our team. You will be responsible for meeting sales goals and bringing in new advertising partners to our growing company. You are a high-energy, self-sufficient seller that has strong client and agency contacts across categories. You enjoy being out in the marketplace fostering strong relationships with clients and agencies. You are a passionate seller with strong streaming, digital, video and social sales experience with a proven track record of breaking new business and building/maintaining client relationships. This position requires strong working relationships with marketing, account management, data, and activation among others and will report to the VP, Partnerships and Revenue.

The Director, Brand Partnerships will call on a key account list that has the potential to spend across multiple platforms within TMB. This list will incorporate large portfolio accounts in categories like: Consumer Packaged Goods, DIY, Pharmaceutical, Retail, among others.

Proposed Salary Range: $145k-$155k base salary + Commission

About you:

You are a self-starter who has strong agency and client connections in the New York City area. You are a passionate seller with a strong digital and ideally streaming background who can develop large, meaningful partnerships. Strong communication skills are needed as well as the ability to develop strategic and creative solutions for your clients. You should have a proven track record of excellent customer service and exceeding your sales revenue goals. You are able to utilize your creativity to drive client conversations across email and client meetings.

Your day-day: (aka Responsibilities) 
  • You will generate revenue that meets or exceeds goals
  • Establish strategic relationships with clients and agency teams in the New York City and select East Coast markets
  • Sell full suite of Trusted Media Brands advertising solutions across Streaming, Social, Digital, Video, Programmatic, Data, Custom Content and Print
  • You will use research and insights to develop proactive and requested marketing programs 
  • You will cultivate relationships to increase business from existing accounts and build new revenue by breaking new accounts
  • You have a solid understanding of marketplace needs based on client feedback and are able to use this knowledge to work with the marketing and ad products team to develop strong proposals and proactive ideas for your clients
  • You will provide regular reporting and forecasting
You have/are: (aka Qualifications) 
  • 8+ years advertising sales & agency experience and bachelor’s degree desired 
  • Must be a client-focused seller who has strong experience in online/digital media sales. Experience selling streaming/social a plus with established relationships with agencies and brands
  • A track record of increasing revenue and breaking new accounts across your assigned client list
  • A self-starter with tenacity and enthusiasm to handle diversified account list that will lead to business growth
  • A strategic thinker and organized individual who can help create strong relationships with clients at all levels and lead in development of effective proposals/ideas
  • Strong communication skills are needed as well as the ability to develop strategic and creative solutions for your clients - You should have a proven track record of excellent customer service and exceeding your sales revenue goals
