About the role:

As part of the Content Operations, the Editorial Production Coordinator supports backlinking for digital content across our brands. Reporting to the Manager of Editorial Production, this entry-level position will assist in optimizing our newly published content while adhering to brand guidelines and workflow processes. Your eye for detail will help drive overall site performance, creating a quality experience for our readers.

About you:

Excited to rise to the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment, you are a creative problem solver who knows how to work “smarter not harder” by ideating efficiencies for common tasks. Comfortable working in spreadsheets, you can stay focused on long-term projects and communicate your progress to different stakeholders across the company. You have a way with words and the ability to update copy to adhere to a brand’s voice and tone.

Your day-to-day:
  • With guidance from the Manager of Editorial Production, connect new content to high-ranking existing content through backlinks making slight tweaks to copy when needed
  • Learn and strictly adhere to editorial best practices, the TMB Style Guide and brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and communicate progress of all tasks to your manager and others as appropriate
  • Assists with other website operations projects as needed
You Have:
  • 1-2 years of experience in digital publishing or a related field
  • Fluency in the English language
  • English or Communications degree, or a related field
  • Strong writing skills and some editing or copy-editing experience
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Fluency with various CMS, including WordPress
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML; familiarity with CSS and JS a plus
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
  • Proficient with Airtable or similar workflow management tools (Excel, Monday, Trello)
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects, with a focus on meeting objectives
  • Excited to hit the ground running in a fast and ever-changing digital world
