As an SEO Manager at TMB, you will be responsible for creating dashboards and building ad-hoc reports to report on ROI of content optimization efforts, serve as the liaison between SEO and product to ensure template changes are SEO-optimized and user-friendly, and evangelizing best practices and intent-first mindset when collaborating with editorial content teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner across teams (Content, Product, Dev, Revenue) to help maintain and improve TMB’s content experiences
  • Build SEO dashboards and reports in Looker and Looker Studio and deliver to SEO Brand Managers and other key stakeholders
  • Regularly audit and measure the effectiveness of our content, providing actionable insights and recommendations
  • Run content audits after algorithm updates and build delta reports to highlight content drops and gains
  • Collaborate with product and development teams on template enhancements, site health, or recirculation opportunities
  • Run ad hoc reporting, using tools like SEMRush, Sistrix, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and Looker, and provide insights to support decision-making processes
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and industry trends, tools, and best practices, continuously testing and implementing new strategies

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of SEO experience, with direct experience working with publishers or media companies
  • Strong communication skills related to analysis and insight, with experience providing stakeholders performance insights and “storytelling” through data
  • Experience in web analytic and data visualization tools like Looker, Looker Studio, and Google Analytics (exposure to GA4 preferred), with a knack for translating data into actionable insights
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Clear understanding of SEO best practices related to EEAT, CWV, and all it takes to be successful as a digital publisher in 2024 and beyond
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in an agile publishing environment
