Reports To: Manager, Streaming TV - Program Strategy
Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Streaming TV Coordinator to join our Streaming Program Strategy team. This role combines operational programming management with strategic scheduling insights to support the performance and growth of our streaming channels. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in television or streaming operations and is comfortable interpreting performance data to inform programming decisions.
This position is not a data or IT analyst role. The right candidate will bring a deep understanding of how streaming television programming is planned, scheduled, and optimized for audience engagement.
Programming & Operations
- Manage and maintain daily and weekly streaming TV schedules across multiple channels.
- Curate and update program grids to ensure balanced content flow, genre mix, and audience targeting.
- Oversee metadata entry, validation, and consistency for all programming content.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and playout readiness.
- Monitor live channels to verify accurate scheduling and on-air execution.
- Schedule promotional assets and ensure accurate placement within playout and CMS systems.
- Support onboarding of new FAST/AVOD channels from planning through launch.
- Partner with production and operations teams to confirm content compliance, asset readiness, and timing integrity.
Strategy & Performance
- Analyze programming and audience data to evaluate performance and identify optimization opportunities.
- Generate and distribute regular programming, performance, and audience trend reports.
- Handle ad-hoc data requests using dashboards and internal analytics tools.
- Provide actionable insights on scheduling strategies, program flow, and viewer retention.
- Assist in tracking competitive programming and market trends to inform content and scheduling decisions.
- Assist in planning special programming events, themed marathons, and seasonal content blocks.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, content, and tech teams to align programming with business goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Media Studies, Mass Communication, or a related field (Data Analytics exposure preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in television, streaming, or digital content operations.
- Strong understanding of OTT/FAST/AVOD ecosystems and digital content workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for light data analysis and reporting.
- Experience working with CMS applications and managing content metadata.
- Experience with Looker, Frequency, Wurl, and/or OTTera is a strong plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into programming actions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across global and regional teams.
- Passion for television, streaming content, and audience engagement.
